Tokyo’s Heart

A whole month in Tokyo, in the now distant autumn of 2009. It is not easy for a westerner to be catapulted into a world with completely different rhythms and lifestyles. So, you try to become almost invisible, because you are only a grain of sand in the immense megalopolis. One thing guides all your wanderings of that month, and it is The Heart of Tokyo: its endless underground network, with its stations that sometimes become cities in the city, as is Shinjuku, crossed and lived by 6 million people a day . Then, the subway and it’s people, becomes one of the main themes of your photographic stories and the following images are a small example.
